BioBased Technologies, LLC
BioBased Technologies, LLC (BBT) started operations in February
2003, headquartered in Spring Valley, Illinois, with a vision to
develop a family of bio-based polyols from renewable plants that
could be offered as an alternative to non-renewable petroleum-based
polyols. |
|
| |
Global
polyol sales are $10B annually to support the $20B
annual global polyurethane market. Today, 99% of polyols are
petroleum-based, so the market opportunity for bio-based polyols
is enormous.
In July 2004, the decision was made to relocate the headquarters
of BioBased Technologies to Northwest Arkansas, and that process
was completed in July 2005.

BioBased Systems, LLC
In January 2004 BioBased Systems, LLC (BBS) was created as a separate
company, headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas, to focus business resources
directly into the creation and marketing of products that contain
BBTÍs bio-based polyols. |

| |
BioBased Technologies' and BioBased Systems' mission is to reduce
the world's dependence on fossil fuels starting with the United
States. We will do this by creating ingredients from renewable
plant resources grown by over 600,000 U.S. farmers that replace
ingredients derived from non-renewable crude oil products.
We then include those renewable ingredients and other bio-based
or recycled materials in formulas for a broad range of polyurethane
products. This same process is repeatable globally by using renewable
resources grown in a variety of countries around the world.

Natural State Insulation
Natural State is a corporately owned certified dealer for BioBased
Insulation servicing northern Arkansas. By actually owning and
operating an insulation company, BioBased Insulation is able to
field test new products, develop best practices to share with our
certified dealer network and gain real-world experience in the
challenges that come with operating an insulation company. This
helps better prepare us to support and assist our certified dealers.

certified dealers to purchase spray rigs or equipment from Superior,
but staff from Superior do provide training and answer questions
